Back to the Grind

I used to have a blog. I am not sure how it happened, but I stopped writing. Forgetting my username and password definitely added to my sudden lack of interest; nevertheless, I am joining the forces of blogging once again.

This may sound silly to everyone out there, but watching a movie (Julie and Julia) rekindled my desire to write. It never ceases to amaze me how meaningless things like movies and music can spark an enthusiasm for an activity. People may be encouraged to follow their dreams or to attempt something they have never done before or to rediscover old passions. That's what happened to me while watching that film. I remembered how alluring writing a blog was. I know my blog will never become like Julie Powell's, but just knowing that I can write is comforting.

Writing is such a wonderful thing to me. Words are transformed from thoughts to eternal beings. I could easily make these words last for many years if I wanted them to. These words will release feelings and relive events of my life.

I am just an average girl who loves to write.
